Definitely your best one. Cause this has the most interesting melody. I'd lower the volume on the drums a bit so we can hear more of the melody. I'd change something at 00:41 like add a new instrument/change the melody. Other than that it's a good start. =D

Thank you for the response! I'll work on making more interesting melodies in the future :)

Cool. I don’t know how the original sounds but this was good!

Nice! Love the progression at 1:10

Thanks dude! Always gotta throw them off before the chorus! If you could even call it that!

yayy looks like it did :D i appreciate you checking the track out! <33

The intro is a tad too long for my taste and different from the chorus. Like the ambient sounds at 00:47 is really cool and then you remove it. Sounds like it is made for another song. And I would have liked to hear more of that sax in the first part. The 2nd part sounds more cohesive. Very good sounds all over though :)

Glad you liked it ! =]

Kinda like something I would make years ago. It's better than say your song Blend which is too loud and sounds like it's peaking through most of the song. On this one though, you could make the main melody longer, just repeat the same 4 chords you have and change the last chord in the loop. So if it's let's say. c-a-g-e. You could make it c-a-g-e - c-a-g-b. So it's a b instead of e the second time you repeat it, if you know what I mean? Just that tiny little chord change can make all the difference.

Overall my advice is to spend more time on one thing at a time until it sounds amazing and then move on to the next part. I used to try to make every sound melody and drums at the same time. Like making the bassline as I'm making the chords and the drumbeat. No just focus on making a great melody and then move on to the next thing. If you keep at it you're gonna make amazing music!

I'm about to remove this song from the audio portal so unfortunately it will delete your comment, I think, but I want you to know that I did take your advice and have been putting a lot more thought into every piece of music I make. Thanks for posting such an in-depth comment, you didn't have to but it helped so much in the long run :)
(I'll keep this song up until you react to acknowledge you've seen this reply)

Fat beat! You should put your artist name in the file details (contributing artist) and you can also put a link or anything else in the comment on the file. So if people download your songs it automatically sorts by artists.
